Mr. Abdel Aziz Dahi is the Minister of Digital Transition, Innovation and Modernization of the Administration since May 2021. Previously, he has been in charge of different Ministerial Positions such as: Fishery and Maritime economy, Economy and Industry, Public service and Modernization of the Administration. Besides that, he was the Governor of The Central Bank of Mauritania, General Manager of National health Insurance, and also, Manager of the Government’s internet Center and IT transition coordinator for the Y2K. Mr. Dahi was a consultant for the international institutions (UNDP, World Bank, UNCTAD). In addition, he worked as the IT focal point for the UNICEF in Nouakchott. He graduated from the EPFL (Ecole Polythechnique Fédérale de Lausanne - Switzerland) and Université d’Orleans (France).
